Buddy Love: A hero is transformed by meeting someone else, including (but not limited to) love stories, friendship stories, and pet stories.
Dude with a Problem: An innocent, ordinary hero suddenly finds themselves in the midst of extraordinary circumstances and must rise to the challenge.
Fool Triumphant: An underestimated, underdog hero is pitted against some kind of “establishment” and proves a hidden worth to society.
Golden Fleece: A hero (or group) goes on a “road trip” of some type (even if there’s no actual road), in search of one thing and winds up discovering something else—themselves.
Institutionalized: A hero enters or is already entrenched inside a certain group, institution, establishment, or family and must make a choice to join, escape, or destroy it.
Monster in the House: A hero (or group of heroes) must overcome some kind of monster (supernatural or not), in some kind of enclosed setting (or limited circumstances), and someone is usually responsible for bringing the monster into being.
Out of the Bottle: An ordinary hero is temporarily “touched by magic,” usually involving a wish fulfilled or a curse bestowed, and the hero learns an important lesson about appreciating and making the most of “reality.”
Rites of Passage: A hero must endure the pain and torment brought about by life’s common challenges (death, separation, loss, divorce, addiction, coming of age, and so on).
Superhero: An extraordinary hero finds themselves in an ordinary world and must come to terms with being special or destined for greatness.
Whydunit: A mystery must be solved by a hero (who may or may not be a detective) during which something shocking is revealed about the dark side of human nature.

The Well
Summary: Morinë meets a new friend and Elrond an old one.
Chapter 05: Study
Ch: 01 | 02 | 03 | 04 | 05 | 06 | 07 | 08
Tumblr media
It was a quiet, dewy morning; more mist than air filling his lungs as he crossed the familiar knoll. The light of the rising sun pleasantly diffused, casting a soft glow on everything not obscured by the thick fog in the distance. Though his countenance remained neutral, his pace held purpose, sage cloak flowing behind him as he strode. Running an unexpectedly nervous hand through his hair, Elrond sighed. Arriving at the gate, he stopped under the small stone archway holding his hands rather firmly behind his back, expectantly peering into the fog beyond the threshold. Though he could keenly feel the time passing, it was not long before a familiar silhouette began to emerge in the distance.
Morinë trekked the scenic path through the forest to the gate; one she had become familiar with the past few weeks since meeting with Elrond, better acquainting herself with the Elves and their kingdom. She already met quite a few in her summation, but he assured that who she would meet today was of particular interest to her research. Admittedly, there was a cautious excitement as to who it could be, but Morinë didn’t bother to hazard a guess. Her mind was elsewhere, wrapping her hands firmly around a still-warm mug, attempting to ground herself. While reviewing some notes that morning, she found herself running a thumb across the image of a tree she rendered; the canopy of leaves almost as clear in her mind as the lines of Elrond’s profile gazing up at it. Taking longer strides, she hoped her haste and bustle would spare the hem of her freshly laundered robes from mud, both eager and anxious to reach her destination. A figure came into focus, raising a hand to wave at her as she approached.
“Good morning, Morinë,” He spoke easily with a slight bow, a pleasant smile upon his face.
“Good morning to you as well, Elrond,” she replied mirroring his gesture, catching his gaze with hers.
A beat of silence passed between them, Morinë now grateful to have her hands occupied, mindlessly sipping her tea, breaking the rather pointed eye contact. Elrond’s brow furrowed slightly as he registered the mug for the first time. Though larger than a teacup, it seemed too small to maintain the amount of heat wafting off it, his gaze ignoring the way her lips met the rim of the vessel. It was a deep blue, the fluted ridges around it uniform, dusted in an almost copper color with a proportionate handle. He wondered who had made it.
“Shall we?” Elrond offered, turning so she could pass through the gate.
“Let’s.” Morinë answered a touch quicker than she would have preferred but brushed past the feeling and him as she entered. They walked alongside each other for a time before reaching the grand collection of interconnected, ornate buildings she had come to know as the palace. Traversing the winding hallways, their footsteps the only sound, he interrupted the silence.
“Morinë,”
“Yes?”
“About whom you are to meet today…would you mind if I provided some context beforehand?”
“Why do you ask as though it would be foolish to say no?”
A smirk pulled at the corner of his mouth for a moment as he glanced at her from the corner of his eye, “His name is Gelindhil, the Atlas Master; one of the most skilled mappers in the whole of Middle Earth. As he is responsible for surveying the land and its inhabitants, I believe you both will have a significant overlap in your research. Collaborating with him may be of great help you in gathering the necessary information to bolster your findings, whatever they may be.”
“…That sounds perfect, though I cannot help but feel as though there is more you wish to add,” she commented, sipping from her cup as she waited for him to continue.
“Your wariness is nearly unmatched.”
“I prefer intuition, astuteness—but that is beside the point. What else would you like to tell me about this Gelindhil?”
She could see him mulling over his next words and wondered how much time he spent in a day to picking the correct ones. “Though his skill is without question, he has been known to have a rather playful nature.”
“Playful? I must beg you to elaborate.”
“It is not in an untoward or negative way, rather he is more, shall we say, eccentric; I simply do not wish for you to be offput by his manner. Gelindhil is kind at heart but can be rather unabashed in his speech.”
“Ah, so he speaks a bit more freely than you?”
“Than most.”
“That is quite alright.” She assured, a small smile on her face, “I enjoy plain speech; you needn’t be concerned.”
Whatever comment Elrond had in response, he kept to himself, simply nodding as they continued their walk. Morinë sipped from her still-steaming mug, the movement catching his eye.
“There is one more thing I must ask of you,” He began, slowing to a near-stop. Peering up at him, her subsequent breaths became shallower, noticing how narrow the hallway was beginning to feel. “How on Middle Earth is your cup still that warm?”
Morinë was confused for a moment before remembering which mug she had been drinking from, letting out a small chuckle, “Oh, this—it was a gift from Coirëamár. It is made from her, so it retains heat as though it were still being warmed in her very hearth.” She explained as he listened with fascination,” Today I have a Niphredil tea. It helps in relaxing the mind.”
“Of course, the fragrance is as lovely as ever.” His tone was wistful, remembering how the flowers bloomed in his ancestor’s gardens long ago.
“That is half the reason why I grow them.” She smirked and Elrond found he quite enjoyed seeing it, now distracted by the fullness of her lips, “Would you care to have some?” she offered innocently, catching him off guard.
“I—I couldn’t,” he managed to get out, his eyes widening like a caught deer while collecting the rest of his response. “I would not want to impose or be improper.”
In moments Morinë realized her bumble. Though her work had been solitary, in her travels she had spent much time with the people of Middle Earth, but decorum between nobility had often escaped her concern. To drink after another among friends was a sign of camaraderie, though judging by his reaction, it meant something quite different to the High Elves of Lindon. Now fairly embarrassed, she quickly responded, “Oh yes, of course— my apologies, I did not mean to make you uncomfortable.”
“There is no need to apologize, I—,” Elrond replied, chastising himself as he searched in vain for the correct words. Usually quick-witted, he was unsure of what he wished to say. He did, however, know he wished to become closer, and her response sounded like distance. “It is quite alright,” he finished lamely, turning away to roll his eyes at himself.
“I see,” she simply said, holding the mug closer to her middle with both hands as though it would shield her from the awkwardness now brewing between them.
They continued their walk for a short time in silence, arriving at a door a measure larger than the others. Stepping forward to knock at the entrance, Elrond stopped to face her; the words caught in his throat clear on his face. Before he was able to speak, a voice came from behind the door.
“Please, come in. I have awaited your arrival all morning.”
Glancing between her and the door for a moment, he reluctantly turned to open it, entering the room with Morinë a respectable distance behind him. She noted the space was much larger than one would assume from the outside. Decorated but orderly, the only wall not lined with tomes and scrolls stood awash with sunlight from the towering windows. Illuminated by the morning rays stood an elf she presumed to be Gelindhil, leaning over a grand draft table, leafing through a collection of maps. He was taller, his long, white hair pin-straight and neat. The handsome features of his face were framed by dark brows and lashes, providing an intriguing contrast. Standing upright, he smoothed the embroidered fabric of his gray overcoat, beckoning them in.
“Elrond, welcome!” he greeted warmly. His smile was wide as Elrond stepped forward into the room to shake his hand.” So lovely to see yo—oh my, and who are you?”
Morinë had stepped from behind Elrond just past the threshold of the room though she now felt at its center. “Greetings, Sir Gelindhil, I am Morinë.”
Gelindhil smoothly moved past Elrond and towards her, releasing his friend’s hand without a second thought to grasp hers. “A fitting name for a such a vision. You are the Earth Smith, I presume?” he flattered and by the slight roll of Elrond’s eyes she knew this was the beginning of the eccentricity he was referring to.
“That is what some call me, but my friends call me Morinë.”
“Then Morinë it is,” he purred, lightly kissing her hand, ushering her further into his study. “I must confess milady, in none of the tales of your artistry had I heard mention of your own fairness. They were remiss indeed not to speak of it.”
“Oh, thank you. Though I must say I’m rather glad the work speaks for itself. I should like to think one wouldn’t be inclined to share Elven knowledge simply because one was fair.” She replied lightly, sipping her tea.
A flash of surprise followed by a wry smile spread across Gelindhil’s face “Oh, I like her.” He said turning to Elrond who felt himself an unwitting, but obstinate audience to their banter in this moment. Shifting his gaze back to Morinë, he continued,” Let us cut to the meat of it then, milady. How would you like to review the records from my latest expedition to the East?”
“I would like that very much,” she replied, returning his smile sincerely, placing her satchel on one of the chairs to retrieve her journal and quill from it.
“I also have some records dating back to the First Age that may be of interest to you. Middle Earth has had many faces through the ages, very little of it remaining wholly untouched,” he explained, searching one of the scroll-lined walls. Standing next to her, Gelindhil spread another map across the table, expounding upon its contents for a time before remembering Elrond was there. “Alas, I seemed to have gotten carried away again. I am sure you have much to attend to so I will take no offense if you must leave us, Elrond. Morinë and I may very well take hours.” He commented.
“No, thank you,” he began with a measured smile,” Remaining close to this work is my present priority; High King’s wishes.” He had made himself comfortable at a desk across from the draft table, already dipping his quill in the inkwell to write as he began his own tasks.
“Ah, as he wishes then.”
As it would turn out, Gelindhil’s estimation was accurate, with him and Morinë spending the better part of three hours pouring over the various records and research he had collected during his time as Atlas Master. While Elrond was grateful for the time to focus, it felt as though it had been given in vain, his thoughts and eyes beginning to wander. Small brass placards lined the walls beneath each of the scrolls, save for a dozen or so in a row. His expression fell slightly, a far but knowing look in his eyes. The sigh that followed was quiet though it came from deep in his core. Those scrolls did not need placards, as no Elf could forget the time they recorded, Elrond especially. During that time, two kinslayings came to pass, he and his brother finding themselves in the care of the very Elves responsible. They travelled long and far, both captives and wards until the lot of them could no longer distinguish the two. He mindlessly rubbed his hands where long-healed scars used to live; it felt both ages and moments ago.
Morinë’s chuckle shook him from his reverie, noticing how her hand no longer shot to her side as she laughed. Instead, a fissure righted by golden thread adorning her waist drew his focus, her breaths causing it to catch the light as she stood across the room. Matching perfectly with the other embellishments of her cobalt robe, he couldn’t help but wonder which were embellishments and which ledgers of injury; such was part of her charm. Resilience seemed to come easily, the smile on her face earnest and unguarded as though she had not cheated death a month earlier.
Morinë was listening intently to another of Gelindhil’s tales, when she felt eyes on her. Glancing over she saw Elrond sitting with a hand to his face, in a posture of deep thought. While he was looking at her, it did not seem he noticed the perception had become mutual. Following his line of sight, she saw the tear that had been repaired on her robe after their encounter with the spiders. Though puzzled for a moment, he seemed to return from wherever his mind had taken him, meeting her gaze. Giving him a quizzical look, she raised a brow. Flashing a reassuring smile before returning to his work, Head in the clouds again, she supposed, brushing it off. Returning the gesture, she peered at him once more, relieved that their earlier gaffe seemed forgotten. On the other hand, Gelindhil believed he would not soon forget what he learned that day as he observed them.

Group B |
Tumblr media
(a brief info: Group B, also known as Icers, escaped from the Maze three days faster and lost fewer people than the Gladers, showing that they were significantly more capable than the Gladers. Their Maze was in a snowy, coniferous forested area that they called "the Spring". Rather than Grievers, the group had giant, flying, winged bat-like creatures called Shades.)
There are eight girls who first came in the Maze: Park Hee-jin, Gina, Lee Bora, Seo Ji-woo, Han Se-mi, Jung Ye-rim, Nam Chae-young, and Han Song-yi. I'll add a few more to make the members eleven (before Eun-seok and Ju-hee) — Group A still has the most members.
When Eun-seok came, which made the girls suspicious at the sight of a boy. Gina was so skeptical that she believed WICKED had sent the boy to torment them. So, along with some girls, she attempted to kill Eun-seok. Luckily, Hee-jin — the Leader — stepped in and defended the Blondie (slang for Newbie, just like Greenie), glaring at her second-in-command; she told her to not act quickly and WICKED must've sent him for a reason. Gina remained dubious and kept her distance, watching Eun-seok like a hawk.
Hee-jin is a determined leader, she keeps peace and will answer to any injustice. Gina is her second-in-command. Han Se-mi and Jung Ye-rim are the Medics (James Dashner didn't have specific terminologies in Group B so I'll make my own and here). Seo Ji-woo and Nam Chae-young are Mappers.
Han Song-yi is the youngest member. She feels closest to Hee-jin and is mostly found alone if her unnie is busy. She eventually becomes Eun-seok's first friend.
Despite not losing his memories at all, Eun-seok doesn't know most of them in the past. He feels alone and misses his best friends, hoping they'll stay alive until their paths cross. He thinks about them every day and stares at the stars. Then, Hee-jin approaches him and asks why he isn't sleeping. Eun-seok answers that he's thinking about his past. She shrugs and tells him not to worry, all of them have no idea about where they came from, and she always wonders if she has a loving family. Eun-seok sympathizes with this and the two talk under the stars.
Lee Ju-hee, the last member, eventually comes and that is when the Box has stopped going up. Group B realizes they will soon starve. They begin to prepare, though they give the Blondie an entire day to adjust.
Eun-seok goes to Ju-hee, who looks at him strangely. He figures she doesn't know him yet, so he reassures her that she's going to be fine and he'll protect her. Besides looking forward to seeing his best friends, Eun-seok wishes to reunite with Jin-woo and Hae-in someday, who were both close to him and Ju-hee.
Armed with spears, flames, and daggers, the group bravely enters the Maze. Ji-woo and Chae-young lead them while the rest fend off the creatures.
Eun-seok protects both Ju-hee and Song-yi.
Chae-young is the first one who dies, sacrificing herself to draw the Shades' attention from her group.
Ju-hee and Song-yi are the ones who managed to reach the end. Ji-woo yells out the code and Ju-hee hurriedly punches them in. Unfortunately, some members die before they can reach the exit, leaving only eight members surviving.
They soon get rescued by WICKED, who brings them to the headquarters. After sensing something bad two days later, Hee-jin hatches a plan to sneak out, so she ventures through the air vents and observes each path that might possibly lead to the exit. Once she figures it out, she encourages her friends to leave. Hee-jin and Ju-hee secretly make their way to Eun-seok's room to take him along.
Unfortunately, Eun-seok tells them to leave him behind. Hee-jin protests at this and says she can't let them do something to him. He smiles and hugs her, promising her that he'll meet her soon — he needs to see someone first. Hee-jin looks like she's about to protest, but closes her mouth, she touches his shoulder and gazes into his eyes; "make sure you stay true to your word." She says.
Eun-seok nods. Hee-jin goes back to the tunnel and Ju-hee is about to follow her when Eun-seok grabs her wrist, sneaking a small radio into her hand. The ginger looks at him perplexed and he mouths "I'll explain" then encourages her to go.
Ju-hee partially regains her memories. And the more she thinks about the past, the more she uncovers the rest, except for the faces of people who were once her family. She forms a closer bond with her group and they look after each other until the Right Arm finds them. She keeps in touch with Eun-seok, only answering the radio when she's alone since nobody else must know about it; he checks on her and the rest, asking her if she has met Yoon-ho and Byung-gyu or Jin-woo and Hae-in. Ju-hee shakes her head. She can tell how much he's struggling — the pain of being excited to meet someone who doesn't know who you are.
Ju-hee gets scared when she no longer receives Eun-seok's calls. Lee Bora is there to comfort her, even though she doesn't know why her friend panics at random times of the day. The biggest relief she gets when Min Byung-gyu steps into the tent and then how he tells her about Eun-seok during their journey while she's treating his wound.
Song-yi remains alive. Although, she won't be coming when the cast goes to the Last City. She'll be in Safe Haven with Ye-rim while the rest are off to fight the organization that destroyed their lives.
Lee Bora is the only person who saw Ju-hee leave. It is more like she caught her packing her things and ready to leave. Ju-hee explains to her why and that a helicopter will be coming for her. Lee Bora is shocked — Eun-seok had just betrayed them, and now, Ju-hee will be leaving to take WICKED's side; she doesn't know how to feel being betrayed twice. Nonetheless, she lets it go and bids Ju-hee good luck. She's still hurt, and Ju-hee will not stop her from telling the others, already envisioning Hee-jin's reaction.
Group B counterparts with Group A:
Park Hee-jin - Lim Tae-gyu
Gina - Choi Jong-in
Seo Ji-woo - Baek Yoon-ho
Han Se-mi - Son Ki-hoon
Jung Ye-rim - Min Byung-gyu
Han Song-yi - Yoo Jin-ho
Lee Ju-hee - Lee Ju-hee
Lee Eun-seok - Cha Hae-in

So sadly, the android version of V3 doesn't seem to register controllers--or at least, not my odin's built-in controller.
Still, I managed to get the odin's built in button mapper to work really well with at least normal game play... But to be honest, it's probably way more efficient to just map out the joysticks and use the touch screen as intended. xD

since a couple ppl on here seem to like my lil style folder and is wondering what it's like to use an android flip (with a touch screen)
i highly recommend apps like nova launcher and key mapper, as well as the TT9 app
for browsing DuckDuckGo seems the most d pad friendly for me. but barely. i'm actually using tumblr through that instead of the app because of the silly auto content labelling there
some the highlighted selections are very hard to see on the folder tbh.
also the battery on this is ass if u use it like a smart phone.

Arid Athenaeum is a techless puzzle-routing map by Adam Korinek (Anzen_) focused around dash-refill dash blocks. The map is heavily inspired by Revita, entirely built with custom graphics and even adding some gameplay changes. The big change is no grabbing, and the elevators as goals carry over too.
The first thing to note is that the custom graphics are absolutely stunning. I haven't played Revita, so I don't know how closely the sprites replicate the original game, but it all fits so smooth in Celeste's pixel art style.
Tumblr media
It's also -- thankfully -- unintrusive. It's just enough to be pretty and to give off the right vibes, and it doesn't fall in the category of maps so saturated with custom graphics that it's hard to tell what's going on. It feels like exactly the right amount of effort for what the map is going for, I hope the mapper thinks it paid off as well!
Tumblr media
Gameplay starts off with a fair amount of easing into the new feel. There's new mechanics of course, but the no-grab limitation is just as much of a foundation to the map as the refill dash blocks. Platforming and movement is built around this, you need to know how to use walljumps to increase height and distance; it's not just a disabled-neutrals-style gimmick. It's emulating a different game, after all.
The refill dash blocks come in one or two-dash variants, and are paired with spikes and dash spikes. Interestingly, spikes on refill dash blocks are the only ones that can be sideways or downwards. Dash spikes only allow you to touch the block if you're dashing, functionally the same as dream spikes if those are familiar to you.
The core gameplay loop of the map comes down to figuring out which dash blocks to break in which order, often involving when certain blocks are accessible and storing a two-dash state for use somewhere else. Fully utilizing your dashes and planning ahead always feels very clever. Gameplay segments are almost always limited to the size of the screen, so the player is given the opportunity to pause and think about the room before they try it. Spawn points are plentiful as well.
It's one of the easier routing maps I've played, but it is a good exercise in the style of dash and refill-centered routing puzzles. The map is techless as I said, and I think I can get away with calling it red beginner. However, with as much as the map departs from Celeste, a decent intuitive understanding of the physics. Some segments are technically trickier than others by a decent enough margin that the difficulty ramp may feel uneven to players still getting the hang of the game.
I do have two gripes with the map. First off is just the camera, which does just stem from the style of map. Moving between gameplay segments moves the camera very quickly as it changes target, which is a bit jarring. This is really just an issue when gameplay is close to screen transitions, when the player might fall of a ledge or interact with entities they cannot see because the camera hasn't focused yet. This is more of an issue on downwards movement, where the camera doesn't move down until the player is near the bottom of the screen, essentially making it a leap of faith. I understand why it was done like this, but it did pull me out of the map a little and this is one of the cases where it's more important for the map to be Celeste and not Revita.
My second issue is the sprites for the refill dash block spikes. They look a bit too similar to tell apart from a glance, since dash spikes and regular spikes are mixed together a lot more as the map progresses.
Tumblr media
It feels mild in retrospect, but not knowing the layout of the levels made it matter more. I just wish that the dash spikes were a little less spiky, I guess? More of a shape distinction, since the colors are pretty set in stone.
Don't let these minor complaints get in the way of enjoying the map, though! It has a great, unique theme that goes beyond visual style. It's really not only a Celeste map, and it doesn't feel like one either. It's comfortable for anyone who's beaten the game before, and it can serve as either a good starting point for getting into routing maps or as a reading exercise for experienced players. A couple strawberries and a fully completed debug challenge room are the cherry on top. What else can I say besides to give it a try?
Remember to leave a like on the GameBanana page if you enjoyed! It really, really helps.

There is a new Player Destruction map on the workshop called Galleria. As a playtester (via TF2maps), I'm gonna give you guys some screenshots of it to you guys as propaganda (most screenshots under read line, because there's a lot and they all have text)
[EDIT because HOW DID I FORGET THE LINK]
Here, we see the deposit point, a "tree" you have to deposit "gifts" into.
Tumblr media
Next up, the sawn rooms, or in Red's case, the sPawn room, filled with references and etcetera. Blu gets the sPants room, keeping up the tradition of getting snuffed that got its start in 2009.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
After that, we get more views of the the "tree", now with a theatre (I'll touch on that later) and some maps and monitors (I'll touch on that never). [EDIT to insert a better pic of the map and monitors]
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Time for more Stores! I've got 3 rounds in me, and the first are the ones near the spawn rooms.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Next up are the ones on the rink, with 3 of them being enterable. If you're on casual, please roleplay at your own risk.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Third are the ones on the second floor. They are closed, so you can't buy yourself the legendary "Duped Shovel".
Tumblr media Tumblr media
So you remember how there's a movie theatre? Well, it's fully detailed with posters, a concession stand, doors, and even show dates! (I got the doors photo later, so that's why it may look different.)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
And finally, the outside. This is what sold me on the map. They decided to make the outside the classic badlands, which fits it into TF2 like a glove. (I snagged the heavy pic on the first playtest I was in, while all the photos you've been seeing up until now have been the second.)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
It may not seem like a big deal, but looking outside, and instead of the mappers throwing up their hands and giving us a blizzard or snowing us in, putting a parking lot with cars and buildings and mountains, seeing that they put so much detail in a place barely anyone would look at, just showed to me that this wasn't a map made for a quick buck on map stamps and strange filters, but a labor of love and passion and dedication to make this map the best it can be.
If you've read this far, please vote YES on Galleria, as it's the best Nucleus reskin I've seen this side of the circus. If you couldn't tell it's based off of Nucleus, that's just a sign on how good it is.
P.S. Yes, you can get killed by the Zamboni. Yes, I have proof. Yes, the Zamboni is a train.

The Life of Erik Caleb: A Story from Age 1 to 31
Age 0–5: I was born on June 16, 1993, in Prilep, North Macedonia. I had blonde hair and blue eyes. My mother, Sarah Virginia, was only 14, and my father, Josh Allen, was 28. I was an only child. Life was simple, and I was an energetic and happy kid. At age 5, in kindergarten, I met Perry Mason, who was two years older than me. He became my best friend.
Age 6–11: Perry and I stayed close. We had sleepovers, played games, and talked all the time. I was doing well in school and enjoyed childhood. Those years were filled with laughter, friendship, and a sense of security.
Age 12–14: At 12, I started learning slang and understanding more about life. I continued doing well in school with mostly A’s and B’s. At 14, I had my first crush, but it didn’t last long. That heartbreak was my first real emotional pain.
Age 15–16: At 15, I had another crush, and she became my girlfriend. At 16, school subjects became harder and my grades dropped. I was feeling pressure and stress from school.
Age 17: I decided to improve myself — I learned more slang, got a part-time job, and made three new friends: Fay Gaye, William Patrick, and June Leo.
Age 18: I began exploring more adult things like watching 18+ movies and made a new friend named Gerald France.
Age 19–20: At 19, I decided to become independent. At 20, my friends and I moved to Athens, Greece, to start a new chapter in our lives.
Age 21: I won the lottery — 48 million euros. I built my dream house, rented apartments, and gave money to my close friends.
Age 22: My girlfriend became pregnant. We decorated the baby’s room and did a gender reveal — it was a boy. I installed security systems all around my house to protect him.
Age 23: I got my driving license and bought a BMW — my dream car. I started working in fast food. My son was born on July 3, 2016. Tragically, my woman passed away during childbirth. I was devastated.
Age 24–25: I continued to learn slang and started teaching my son as he grew. At 25, my friends and I had horror movie sleepovers to ease my depression.
Age 26: I fell into depression, grieving my lost love. I noticed my beard growing out — a sign of time passing. One touching moment was when my son said his first word: “Daddy.”
Age 27: Perry and I began working together at the same restaurant. I gave my son an iPhone 10 for his birthday. He smiled and said, “I love you, papa.”
Age 28: On February 10, 2023, I became a YouTuber, joining the GeoTuber community. I created a channel named Austrian Geo, lying about my name, age, and country. I became friends with a boy named Mohammad Yusuf (Pakball), and we became best friends. Eventually, I hit 1,000 subscribers.
Age 29: I joined a server called UK Mapper’s Server. Sadly, I faced homophobia and confusion. I had a crush on someone named rzm62, but she rejected me due to religious differences. Then my friend Pakball was diagnosed with cancer and went offline. In November, I quit GeoTubing. My son broke my phone, and I lost access to my channel. I started a new one but it had low views. I accidentally simped a guy named Truthlesh, thinking he was a woman.
Age 30: While working the night shift, Perry gave me an iPhone 14. When it was my turn to receive a gift, he suddenly punched me, tied me up, and locked me in a basement. He claimed I stole his girlfriend. But later denied it ever happened and didn’t even own a van. I suspected someone disguised as him.
Days later, I was kidnapped again — this time by a woman with black hair and white skin. I woke up chained in a bedroom with a tickle machine. It was Perry’s ex-girlfriend, Grace William, who had been in my kindergarten class. She called me “senpai,” confessed she loved me, and tried to force me into staying with her. I begged to see my son, but she duct-taped my mouth and continued tormenting me.
After two hours, my best friend Perry showed up and rescued me. I cried and thanked him as he called the police. She was arrested and sentenced to 8 years for impersonation and kidnapping. When I came home, I hugged my son tight. He handed me a drawing saying:
> “Daddy, you’re smarter than, tougher than, braver than, stronger than, funnier than… I love you.”
It made me tear up.
Age 31: We had a sleepover with friends — except Grace. We talked, laughed, and played games. On May 16, 2025, I started a new YouTube channel pretending to be a 13-year-old girl. I made obby content, speedruns, parkours, and more. I have 916 subscribers now.
This is the story of my life so far — full of love, pain, friendship, betrayal, and rebirth.

Journal Entry 049 — Mapping the Sacred
Date: 2201.08.21 Filed by: Minister Iraleth Mor, Office of State Doctrine For Distribution to: High Council, Astral Cartograph Division, Choir of Sanctified Expansion
We tread now beside titans.
Though their temples lie in ruin and their voices speak from across a thousand millennia, the Ferellian Guardians have awakened — not with conquest, but with caution. Their edict was clear: their sacred sites are not to be trespassed, under any circumstance.
We have heard them. We will obey.
And yet, obedience without knowledge is treason cloaked in humility. Thus, we chart.
A dedicated sub-division of the Astral Cartograph Division has been assembled — not of mere star-mappers, but of liturgists, historians, and void-hymn scholars. Each stellar body flagged by Ferellian transmission has been overlaid with crimson glyphs in our navigation grid. We name these systems Vel Sanctuarii — the Silent Wards.
No vessel may approach a Sanctum without imperial authorization. Patrol routes have been adjusted. Civilian pathing has been reprogrammed to shun the forbidden arcs. Any accidental crossing shall be considered a blasphemous error and met with internal correction.
“To touch what they revere is not merely to provoke them,” I told the Council, “but to wound their memory. And the wrath of memory runs deeper than blood.”
Sister Aethyra has contributed. She has ordered that each Sacred System be paired with a new canticle in the Book of Listening Stars, to be sung only at a distance, during passing or observation. It is said the Ferellians are attuned not only to proximity, but to intent. We will give them no cause to doubt ours.
Let it be recorded that the Crimson Throne does not confuse reverence with weakness. We honor the Ferellians not because we kneel — but because we understand.
We too have relics. We too remember.
And we, unlike so many, know how to wait.

Celeste Map Reviews #24
GLORIOUS DAY! THE LAST OF 2024 (I am writing this as the clock ticks over into 2025). FOURTEEN, YES, FOURTEEN MAPS ALL PART OF THE SCD SUPER FINALE MARATHON! I might tone down the yapping a tad for the sake of getting through all these so HERE WE GOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
FIRST! - Moonlight Daydream by Sapphire_Xer0!! - The Marathon begins here! Sophie cooked up an expert map featuring dream blocks and puffers, and it was a ton of fun! Every room was a blast, I liked the progression of techniques (like the dream hyper fish bhop, and the fish ultra) and the berry was a nice gimmick touch! The decoration is stellar and quite SC-core, and the music was a great cherry to top the fishcake! Overall, I've been liking puffers a lot more recently......, 9.7/10!!
SECOND! - Starlight, Starbright by geb! - Next up we have an adv-exp effort from geb! Very clearly a reference to SC advanced's Satellite, I had a really fun time with this one! The wallbounce and spring gameplay just felt really funky and fun to do, helped by the top notch music. The visuals are pretty good and faithful to Satellite, and I especially liked the quirky room with 2 berries in it! Overall, Hexa trivia fact! Satellite used to be the map I remembered the least from SC advanced, maybe other than The Correlation... 9/10!!
THIRD! - Midlight by yurt7x!! - Here we've got an easier map all about the purple, um burst bubbles? Y'know, the ones from Red Giant? This map is quite the jauntful one (wow this word has settled into my vocabulary with no effort), just featuring a lot of wounces and waves and stuff and some cool bubble cancels too! It was.. just a fun time! Music and deco were a good fit too! Overall, maybe I should try yurt's jauntest map too... 9/10!!
FOURTH! - Overgrown Factory by xolimono! - The peak keeps on coming, almost like it's being produced at a factory! Not this one tho probably, this place is abandoned and overgrown by nature after all! The Overgrown City inspiration is clear, and the Desecration exploding boxes on zipper tracks are a cool entity to play around! The rooms were fun, and I liked the wavedash setup boost in the final room! I'd like to see how this gameplay style would do for longer rooms focused on the speedrun aspect of the connected zippers.... Overall, yes i still don't know what the desecration entities are actually called, 8.6/10!!!
FIFTH! - Sequoia by grog398!! - Here we have a solidly sc gm map (prolly would've ended up in red) based on FotA and Temporal Tower! The TT routing is on show from the start, along with the badelines (that don't kill when you're close to bino, though it confused the hell outta me the first time lmao), and of course we'll have to clear our way with the exploding crystals. The first room was pretty fun to route, the second room was REALLY hard to route, but I'm proud of myself for doing it without help, and the final room was easier to route, but had some cool moves! The heart room was a cool callback to TT's final room, hope it's silver friendly! The visuals have an interesting vibe and the music was pretty good! Overall, 2023 Hexalia would've definitely backed out the clear video for this one! 8.4/10!
SIXTH! - IchiNiSan by Appels!! - A very interesting vibes map! First off, I LOVE the outdoorsy vibe to the visuals, and now I wanna play more maps with this fresh air style! I also like the general color palette and tileset used here, quite pretty! The gameplay revolves around vertical screenwrap and room-wide crumble blocks! The progression is very fun, having 1, then 2, then 3 crumbles. I liked the in-room berries, definitely great to see with their rarity! Yeah, the bubbles and routing also add to the overall cool gameplay structure. Overall, I will code a crumble block that doesn't do the annoying insta-crumble sometimes, 8.9/10!!!
SEVENTH! - Far Flung Moon by Banana23!! - Another banger from the mapper to begin the SCD posting! This one has clear visual ties to Booster in Orbit, and the infamous bubble snakes are a feature here! This map is tech focused, lots of waves, supers, wounces and reverses are just good fun to breeze through as always! I loved the minimal decoration style and the general dark night/space vibe to it. The berries were pretty fun too! Overall, I just really like this map! 9.2/10!!
EIGHTH!! - Scrapyard by butcherberries!! - This map is quite different from all the others! Featuring a monochromatic (or is it grayscale?) Major-Malfunction-y visual experience which I quite appreciate the unique-ness off! The dead-looking trees and all the scrapheaps add to the immersion! The gameplay is interesting too, with gray bubbles and desecration exploders making up some pretty mind-boggling routing/exploring gameplay! Even the bino placements are weird, just like this whole map really, but it was a cool time! Overall, insert joke about the Scrapyard from btd6, 8.5/10!!
NINTH! - Through Time Unphased by MorphedCat!! - Coming in for number nine, this map is also really interesting! The difficulty is all over the place, from techless-ish intermediate, to sc cracked speedchains, all is encompassed by a pretty neat mini-story which I think is a really nice touch! But of course the highlight for me was the backtrack to reach the heart! It really cemented the experience for me! The visual style is very distinct with it's all-over-the-place approach, and I liked the music! Overall, kinda World Abyss-y with those touch switches...cool...9.2/10!!!
TENTH! - Slider Sanctuary by Soloiini!!! - And from some pretty complex maps we cool down with a fun beginner map! I loved the conveyor belt gimmick combined with the moving circle hazards! There were some cool movement ideas in there and all was very fun to jaunt through! I also appreciate the vanilla music in this one, that and the simpler deco feel quite sc-ish!! Overall, :thumbeline:, 8.8/10!!
ELEVENTH! - Rain Season by Tear_!! - More peak puffering perchance? YES!! This high expert map uses double dash, jump crystals, push blocks and fish and creates a super fun map out of them! Lots of cool setups and fish tech, along with fun mini-routing. The visuals are pretty good here, and I like the rain aesthetic, and the music was great! Call me a fan of the atmospheric start to the map with the move block too! Overall, HELL YEAH I AM A REFORMED PUFFERFISH FAN! 9.1/10
TWELFTH! - Skysailing by fonda1515!! - OH GOD YESSSS FONDA MAPPING I'M GONNA MELT IT'S SOOOOO GOOOOOOD! This map is just raw fun, simples. I almost got sad when it seemed like room 3 would be the end, but there was another room and a berry waiting for me! The jelly setups and red bubble moves were a shitton of fun, and I liked the wall/dream grab progression later on! The music also just added to the airborne jaunty vibe, so yeah, I absolutely had a blast! Overall, hmmm, red bubbles are fun... I can use this.... 10/10!!
THIRTEENTH! - Air A Danser by CoolBread! - This map which I didn't play straight away (sorry!) is allll about jumpthrough jumps! I'm quite the jumpthrough jump hater usually but this map was really good! The easier difficulty kept things from being annoying, and I liked the progression of adding neutrals in too! The gameplay is built around the main tech quite well too! I also liked the gimmick berries at the end! And the music and deco were great too! Overall, not so unlucky thirteen I think! 9/10!!
FOURTEENTH! - False Dawn by ABuffZucchini! - To END the marathon, we end on the vegetable! This map was intended to be uncomfortable to play, and I'd say it delivers! It's high expert, and focuses on tech and dream blocks, usually a more jaunty mechanic palette, but here there are plenty of spinners placed to add that uncomf in! I like the dark, unsettling vibe, and the rooms still had some neat moves to them! Overall, True Dusk, 8.5/10!!
SURPISE MOTHERFUCKERS! FIFTEENTH! - Penguin Park by Elysia Vesper! - A quick fifteenth map I picked up for fun! And I even fcg'ed it! This chilly atmosphere houses easy jumps and bubble gameplay, with some wallbounces! It was super fun to play as a map, with 6 varied berries, a fun world full of friendly penguins with some things to say, and a pleasant track! The difficulty curve is very smooth, and it's just satisfying to nail quick turnarounds and bubble sequences! I especially liked the open festival area, just adds even more charm! As for the fcg (or fcs actually), It didn't take that long, map is pretty consistent. Though of course I managed to die in final room somehow lol. Overall, gl on umm, epsilon? whichever room it is i'm sure you'll enjoy it cheepling :trollshiro:, 9.8/10
AND THAT'S A WRAP!

dungeon resonance mapper having a very weird experience reading the topology of a new dungeon because it's sentient and they can feel it looking back
(it is sort of a magical echolocation. they touch the entrance and scope it out with a massive, slow crawl of magic. mappers must be very, very well trained. to keep that much dispersed magic under control. to be able to parse what they get from it. and to hand-draw the information in a way usable to divers.)

Okay!
So second credits additional thoughts since my first credits wrap up:
Orb quest not so bad, kinda neat, but also fails to impress in some ways and that's okay.
I assumed the orb quest would suck entirely and be the grindiest slowest most annoying thing around because everything I had heard was how you HAVE to seek out a True Sage in order to unlock fast travel or else the grind is annoying.
The thing is, that sentiment, is correct!
But!
If you just want to "beat it" that's okay!
What those sentiments are referring to would be the immense amount of backtracking, pointless dungeons, and RNG you must endure if you're trying to max out your caravan by recruiting True caravan members (such as the aforementioned Sage).
That part SUCKS!
It's SO many layers of RNG and requires SO much backtracking that doing so without a True Sage to teleport you to every town every single time you finish a color orb dungeon is MADNESS!
So mad, that I didn't remotely bother lol
What that sentiment is NOT referring to, in my opinion, is the actual orb quest itself which is FAR more reasonable than I thought it would be.
You really do get a ton of orbs every "rotation", with a rotation being "Grab the orbs, do a dungeon (you have to spend at least 1 orb to do that) then grab the orbs again by exploring the world again".
A rotation actually isn't that bad at all. You get Seers and mappers through the main quest and that's all you need to know where the orbs are located. A that point getting around the world to grab them really isn't that bad with the Wings at your disposal.
Now. Doing this without them would suck and if I recall is 100% possible.
But, on my playthrough I got 3 of the wings (didn't get the buff dungeon illusion's until I was already finished) and it made things a complete breeze. A touch annoying using the ports all the time, but it's really not so bad getting to big blinking dots on the map compared to visiting EVERY SINGLE TOWN for SHEER RNG HELL like the caravan grind would have been lol
The orbs themselves are not that bad! And you get so many that you don't have to do too many rotations to completely finish the quest! Assuming you use 4 of the same color etc which I don't recall finding any NPC mentioning that specifically, but hey, I'm telling you- if you use 4 of the same color you guarantee a spirit dungeon which is what you're going for, there ya go.
The spirit fights were reasonable too, literally no complaints there, I really enjoyed going through their little dungeons and fighting them.
The big bad was a little rough but that was mostly my investment slipping away- I can already tell by the fact I could beat him with save states, 1 more breeding session and he was toast, which is honestly reasonable to have considered- after saving the illusions it would make sense to breed for one last team- I just didn't :P
But altogether my thoughts on the color orb quest are "It's WAY better than I thought it would be, I thought it would be garbage though so that's not high praise so much as moderate praise" and "It's still a failure in terms of letting the caravan shine".
As I said in a prior post, the base game doesn't let you play with the caravan recruits worth a damn to the point that it feels like a poorly implemented feature. This second quest is LITERALLY where you get to play with them- it's where new stronger variants spawn and you can farm out a perfect caravan team. And it's ruined by RNG and backtracking lol
Without a true sage it's unreasonably tedious, and even with one the RNG layers involved are OBSCENE, it's just.... stupid.
Why revolve so much focus around this new feature, then skimp on letting the player enjoy it in the base game, and then shyly hide away the potentially rewarding gameplay of actually playing with it in the post game by putting 10 tons of "grind forever" RNG on it?
Bleh.
But yeah.
Orb quest, actually kinda fun. The parts I thought would be tedious were either "Not as bad as I expected" (orbs) or "Were so bad that I stopped trying" (caravan) so my experience was actually mostly orb dungeons and I liked that. Not bad.
My overall opinions on Caravan Hearts remain the same as the first credits.
It's "Mid". It's, as of typing, my least favorite DQM game that I've played, but it's not "dumpster fire" bad.
It's interesting, it's different as all hell, and in my opinion it's heavily flawed and fails to have Fun with the caravan aspect- instead making it a burden.
It's a burden in the early game.
It's pointless in the mid game.
And it's turned into a tedious grind in the post game for no reason.
It's never once allowed to be "fun" when it's the entire Heart of this Caravan Heart title lol
Game is Okay. I would personally recommend pretty much any other DQM title instead to people :)
I am now going to go see if I can access the Dragonlord castle to look at him. I had heard he's far easier than the final boss was, but IDK, after having abused 'time powers' to beat the last guy, I think the 'ol Dragon Quest DL might be allowed to live this time around lol

SERVICE. 6.12.23
Areas in Morocco touched by earthquake needed more mappers to contribute. I found that urgent, so I took action and continued mapping for morocco, but this time it was a different area. There were less houses, but still there were, poorly visible, so it was important to mark them. Additionally, I marked the roads. I played attention to the wider ones and the less obvious ones.
